Learning Objectives. At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Define Motivational Interviewing.

  • Understand the 4 Processes of MI.

  • Understand the key concepts of Partnership, Acceptance, Compassion, and Empowerment.

  • Have some understanding and practice of: Open Questions, Affirmations, Reflections, and Summaries

  • Be able to recognize change talk

Note: This is a LIVE INTERACTIVE SEMINAR. Participants are invited to keep their video on for the most effective learning experience. Session runs from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. EST with a 30 minute lunch break and 2 short bio breaks.
